FAQ
Q. What types of diving services do you provide?
A. We specialize in commercial diving for water infrastructure. Our services include potable water tank inspections, in-service cleanings, leak detection, and repairs. We also offer construction diving for reservoirs, dams, intake and outfall structures, and other submerged systems.
Q. Do you service both public and private clients?
A. Yes. We partner with municipalities, utility districts, engineering firms, and private companies across Colorado and the Western U.S.
Q. Can you dive in active / online tanks without draining them?
A. Yes. One of the main advantages of using commercial divers is that it allows tanks to remain online and in service, eliminating the need to drain the system. Our divers are certified and equipped to perform inspections and cleanings in full tanks while maintaining water quality and regulatory compliance. Certain tank-specific precautions may be necessary so please contact us to discuss your tank setup. We’ll help ensure all safety and sanitation measures are in place.
Q. Are your divers commercially certified?
A. Absolutely. All of our divers are ADCI-certified commercial divers.
Q. Do you carry insurance?
A. Yes. We are fully insured with commercial liability, worker’s compensation, auto and property coverage, meeting or exceeding the requirements of public and private sector projects.
Q. How does the inspection and cleaning process work?
A. We follow strict AWWA and ADCI standards for sanitary diving in potable water systems. Our equipment and diver are disinfected before every dive, and tanks can remain in service during the cleaning and inspection. Sediment is carefully removed from the tank floor to avoid turbidity. We conduct a comprehensive inspection of both exterior and interior components, identifying any sanitary defects, breaches, corrosion, and other visible issues. You will receive a full report with photos, video, and observations to help with compliance, planning, and budgeting.
Q. What kind of reports do you provide?
A. Our digital reports include high-resolution images, video footage, diver notes, and recommendations. We meet EPA, CDPHE, and other agency requirements, and can customize reports based on your specific needs.
Q. How does scheduling work?
A. Most projects are scheduled several weeks in advance. We communicate regularly as your scheduled date approaches. We also offer after-hours and emergency response diving when needed.
